Hi Everyone,
My work permit will expire on May 7th 2015.I got a file number from CIC because I submitted an application for PR under Provincial Nominee. I am planning to apply for open work permit. I want to know when can I apply for it?

I thing you can not apply open work permit (your spouse can apply open work permit)
Better you have apply working visa as soon as possible and your spouse can apply with you open work permit visa.
also you can contact with your employer for extent your work permit.

Hi tarik34
You can apply for an open work permit (Bridging open permit).But when you have less than 4 months on your work permit .you can apply January end...I applied with file number and i got BOWP approved i had less than 4 months in my wp at that time

i think all you need is to provide the file number from CIC....

you just need the copy of AOR,no need of pnp document.need a cover letter states that you are applying for BOWP ..current work permit..copy of passport and all forms for wp
