need advice for sponsorship

Hi everyone,

I need your advice and I really appreciate in advance,

I was married to a Canadian citizen ( my wife ) 8 years ago in Canada while I was a student in Canada and we decided to live abroad in Egypt then in Jordan, and we had 4 beautiful children. My wife advised me that we should go to Canada for a better career for me ( I am an IT professional), she went back to Canada (Alberta) and she rented a house and is she currently staying with the Kids since 3 months and she is preparing the sponsorship papers. Sorry for the long detailed explanation but my question is I wanted before we submit the papers to get all the advice we can so we can have our papers processed the fastest possible since you know its hard having our family apart like this and the children away from me.

So I appreciate all the advice you have to make the process as fast as possible to have our family together. I am a Jordanian citizen and my wife is a Canadian citizen.

Your wife will file an outland application package that will go first to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (where they assess the sponsor's eligibility). This takes about 45 days, and then the file will be transferred to the overseas visa office in Damascus where they assess you as the applicant. Damascus is currently finalizing applications in 3-6 months, which is actually a pretty fast timeline.

As long as you have no criminal record, and the two of you submit all of the required forms, including medical and criminal clearances, and you provide sufficient evidence of your genuine relationship (in other words, this is not a relationship entered into just to get you into Canada), you can reasonably expect to be finalized at the shorter end of that timeline. Just be thorough with the paperwork, carefully read through the guides, and use the checklists to be sure you include everything that's required for their assessment.

hello moh, listen your application is very easy,i mean you've been married for 8 years and have children so all will be easy,do not worry,the damascus office is known for their fast processing and very low refusal rate.
iam applying thru damascus office too,ana min libnan .
