I hope some one can advice me, I received an reply email this morning to an email request I sent last week for my husband's visit visa to Canada. We applied for his visit visa on July 15, 2012 and indicated that he wanted to travel to Canada on August 25, 2012. Turns out they had sent am email requesting additional information on July 22, 2012 as the reason to why we haven't heard back about the TRV. They asked for a reply by August 21, 2012. We just found out about this request today September 1st, 2012 - so I'm wondering, what are the chances he will get approved now as we didn't reply in time. They stated in the email, if we don't respond my the requested date they is a chance the visa will not be approved. Has anyone been in a similar situation/and can advice? I would really appreciate it!

Anytime you provide an email address to immigration, it is your responsibility to check it everyday including the spam/junk folder in case you receive mail from CIC. Anyway, provide the information they wanted and also explain why you didn't do it sooner. Goodluck!

Thanks for the relpy! You are right, my husband didn't pay close enough attention to his spam/junk mail and completely bypassed the email for CIC! We did relpy and answered their question and apologized for the latenss- heres hoping it doesn't affect the visa!!
