They take 4 working days to send report. Mine got delayed because there were 2 holidays for Diwali and then my sons pediatrician report. But the good part is that you can enquire from them about status of report. There are Visa co-ordinators over there who do the medicals for Visa people. They are approachable between 3 to 5 pm on phone and they can answer your queries regarding status of your report in that time.

Take your appointment soon. My experience was that you get next day appointment at CDC. It would be good if you take a morning appointment so that you will be free by early afternoon.

I took some time to write this. Today morning I got good news from my lawyer that me and my wife have received passport request. The downside is that we haven't received passport request for my son as it got delayed due to pediatrician report as I mentioned in my earlier post. I am planning to send all our passports for stamping at the same time. So will have to wait for my sons passport request.

Its been a long journey and equally frustrating as well to wait for 4 long months without a job. Hats off to all those who have shown their guts to sustain during the darkest days of strike and all my best wishes to those who are still waiting.

I hope everyone get their share of pie soon.

One more question to the forum...I have applied Online...Got Medicals..Done medicals. Do i need to send medical fee receipt to CIC through email or fax...or will it be taken care by hospital??

You need not do anything. Just wait for passport request from CIC. If you don't get reply in 20-25 days, then send a mail or do a case specific enquiry by attaching receipts.

But most important thing, keep following up with CDC to send your reports to CIC.
