Hi Guys,

My wife's TRV paper application reached New Delhi embassy on 23rd August through VFS bangalore. She got medical request on 27th August (even though visa duration is less than 5 months). She completed medical on August 30th at elbit Bangalore. After that there is no reply from embassy.

Can you please answer below ?

1) Is medical request a positive sign that visa will be issued?
2) What are the typical timelines at New Delhi consulate for TRV issuance after medicals are completed?

I'm eagerly waiting for my wife! Hope her visa is issued soon.

Call from cic and it was telephonic interview
Waiting for their reply
Hope to get visa soon

Does interview happen in all cases? Which profession are you in? Was the call from Delhi Landline number or some other number? I am asking this because I missed few calls in the day .

as I posted before in my case within 48 hrs of tele. interview they sent me an email that intetrview was successful.. & given medical request...

my wife finally got the VISA so happy.

Timeline:-

spouse OWP application submitted at VFS chandigarh on - 23/04/13.
received passport, medical form and a letter asking for marriage proof on - 28/08/13
email received for Medical on - 30/08/13
medical done on - 2/9/13
resubmitted passport with marriage proof at VFS Chandigarh on - 10/09/13
passport dispatched on 12/09/13
approval email (around 11am) and passport received (around 2pm) on 13/09/13

I see that few people are still waiting on there passports after receiving there approval email, our mailing address was of chandigarh itself so it took just one day.

Government as on Friday night decision has come
In favour of pafso. Strike is still on
Until pafso and govt should reach on agreement
