Good news guys !!!!

My wife got the open work permit.. She received approval mail today afternoon..

Got Medical request on 22nd July,
Medicals done on 23rd July,
Received visa approval on 25th July

Things happened super fast in a week's time.. But I didn't get any mail for my daughter (I applied in visitor category). I guess there'll not be any approval mails for visitor category..

Waiting for passport now..

I am confused how to proceed
I have 6.5+yrs experience on vc++ and familiar with .net.
whether i can go n find a job, how difficult is it or from India only i can try for job in ..
can anybody suggest any job consultancies ?

Hi Naresh!

There is nothing to get confuse. Once you received visa, just go down to Canada and look for an IT job. There is alot of IT Company looking for Developer/Programmer in Canada. Once you find a job the employer will issue you a new LMO and then change your work permit,that's it.

All you need is BRAVE and little bit of money to survive until you find a job.

I don't think you can use the closed work permit to travel to Canada if the job is lost. If you were already in Canada and lost the job you could then look for work. I am really sorry, Naresh.

At Border upon arrival by Air - Immi Officials demands to present Official Offer letter - failure to which can lead to refusal to enter

Or CBSA may deem that u may enter as Tourist with limited time and cancel Your WP

Let me know if u need more info

The offer is not canceled yet, the employer is responding positive but there project is shelved and i think i am in trouble now.

Dont take me wrong, I can surely help u with query..

If offer is not cancelled - Just make sure u show up with the actual offer at border - CBSA wont call an employer..

upon arrival - they will print out wp for u and thereafter convince employer or find another job
