ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Hi Guys!

My status changed! pls find below

Passport released by the Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 04/07/2013 and is in Transit.

Exactly took 2 months

ICT applied on 3rd MAY 2013 alone with medical, received at high commission, delhi on 5th May 2013. Today my status changed and i have received a seperate mail to my mail id. " its says my Visa is approved for one year"

Thank god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks you all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone....
My wife and kid just applied their Spouse OWP and TRV in 26-May-2013 in Chandigarh consulate. But we have not heard back from them yet. I have Student visa and supposed to join my PG course in Sept.
What have been your experience with regards to processing time of such Spouse OWP applications submitted separately from your student visa application.

No update from my end. Applied 1st April 2013. Waiting very patiently...

This is getting really frustrating. For me now its a week more than 3 months. There is no any intitmation for medical. My timeline is

Submitted: 8th Jan, 2013
Rejected: 24th Feb 2013
Resubmit: 8th March, 2013

and nothing after that. I am engineer for CWP+LMO.

Just for information purpose, which will be helpful for others

Applied for ICT work permit at CHC delhi on 3rd MAY alone with medical, Received on 7th MAY 2013 at CHC DELHI.

1. Received mail on 4th JULY 2013 that my Vissa is approved. PDF format attached
2. Online status updated latter ( after few hours), after recieving the mail to personal id (mail id), that my Vissa is approved
3. Next day, i have received my passport through Bluedart courier

I have received OWP approval mail y'day. Passport is awaited.
I applied for entire family under respective category suitable for each.

Like,
OWP- for Myself,
TRV- for Spouse & Son,
Study- for Daughter

Out of which y'day I received approval mail for OWP & Study.
Yet TRV approval is awaited.

Any such case happened with anybody whoes family member's approval came with some delay even though all are applied together in single envelop.

Hi kifsbjg,

Reason for my rejection per my employer was an error in my LMO. But after 2nd submission on 8th March, 2013, there is no any update. Defactor for me its 6months since my first submission and almost 4 months after 2nd. Now i have sopped taking tension ;D ;D

One of the other sad realities about the lengthy turn around is that the LMO will probably expire not allowing a second chance to reapply with deficiencies addressed. Employers must hate this process, too. Having proved that you can't hire locally and still it takes a year to get an employee through the approved process. How can you run a business that way?

Hi Chintan,
You get approval email only for work permit and study permit.

For TRV, it gets stamped on your passport. You dont receive any separate email for TRV.
It happened to one another person too..
