for OWP-S visa you need fill IMM1295E (Work permit application made outside Canada), IMM5645E forms

Supporting Documents:

1. Covering letter to CHC

2. Your job offer letter- Job should be in NOC O,A,B (skilled or semi-skilled job)

3. your last 4-months bank statemnts

4. Your last 4-months payslips

5. Marriage certificate

6. Proof funds around $10,000CAD

7. Wedding card, Wedding pics, joint bank accounts, previous e-mail communications ( gives strong support to the visa)

8. Your spouse job offer letter, Payslips

PLUS economic as well as social ties............show some property documents of spouse and in the letter show the intent to come back after the WP expires

I got a call too from CHC yesterday and they said exactly the same what u told me. But they res t the mail yesterday and I got it and went for further tests. Even I applied on jan3rd and I didn't recieve any mail from them before this. Try sending a mail to them again. Coz I asked them what if I don't get this email also, whom and where should I contact. They asked me to mail them on the Delhi-Im Id which is there on the website!! All the best to u

Hi everyone, Finally,today I have got the medical request through VFS.. thanks for suggestions ..I have aplan to get the medicals done asap as they mentioned within 60 days we have to submit.

Thanks for the instant reply....I have certain doubts:

1. If I am applying for SOWP for my wife in that case do I need 4 months salary slips and account statement of my wife OR my own?
2. Is it mandatory to show around $10,000 CAD in account...I dont have that much funds with me at this stage
3. Also, I have recetly moved to Canada through Intra company transfer Work permit...so can I use my Indian salary slips or it should be Canada salary slips only

Also please suggest whether to take help of some agent or should I directly apply through VFS?

PAFSA members are on strike, rest are working. It is affected not closed.

90% OF TIMES wp is approved subject to medicals

hai dakshseth2012,

1. your 4-month payslips are mandatory. If your spouse working show her payslips ( work payslips gives some positive impact on VO, but it is not mandatory)
2. IMM5488E form ( workpermit checklist) says proof of funds. But it never quoted how much funds we have to show.
3. I'm not sure about Question no:3, ask this question to experts in this forum

If you are confidence on visa filing file by yourself, other wise hire any consultant.

Notice – Strike Action
June 11, 2013 — The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.
