Right thing to do is to inquire first - send email to ndvo accompanied with minister letter, they respond to those in 5 days,

withdrawal will just double ur work , having to redo the whole thing again

Minister from Canada or India??

if from ndvo - paper applicaiton - then mp from India

You can apply for PR but you will need PCC and for that passport

Please advise as for spouse open work permit from chandigarh how long is the processing.Applied in 1st week of april.No information till date.How long is the wait.

As per their website 3 months for Temporary work permit at Chandigarh...so only after 1st week of July you can start complaining :-X

Yes...once she arrives in Canada, she can get her PCC for PR purposes ....the Consulate general of India in Canada does the PCC.

Wife done her medicals and the doctor gave her a slip that she needs to send to VO along with her passport.

SHould she send both right away or wait for Visa office to contact her?

I believe you need to send it directly to the embassy. No need to wait for their approval.. I mean how would they know when ur done with medicals. I believe u would need to send receipt and copy of email along with Passport.

She will submit the passport on Monday...but will confirm with VFS again before that....

Please write an email to the CHC with the subject "URGENT: <insert your for email here>" for example "URGENT: Request for withdrawal for application". Mention in the email body full name of all applicants, Passport numbers, date of births, address, VFS reference numbers, file number (if known), client id(if known).

Explain that you need to withdraw your application as you have a PR application in progress and that you need to submit your passports against that application.

I needed my passports for an urgent personal matter without withdrawing my application and I received my passport back within 4 working days.

I am also an ICT TRV applicant applied on 3rd Apr'13 @ ND VO, till now I haven't recieved any mail on MRR.
All March & April applicants Please do keep posted your status.
