ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Hmmm i called up the guys they said it delivered on 7th Feb. I did on Feb 1st. Donno y these ppl have sent it after a week. Really frustrated. I was expecting this week. Garrycole i guess both of us will receive atleast few days near. U have applied for open work permit? November?

Oh but in most cases I've seen it being sent in 3 or 4 days. Anyways after it reaches CHC it takes 5-10 working days i guess. Hoping for the best.

Kindly update mine as CWP/LMO Exempt, I am into freaking 7th week of wait, no news yet. :-[

I don't know if its CHC guys or their Medical Division that are delaying the process.
An Update I got from CHC on 6th Feb is that their Medical Branch is very busy now a days and so their overall processing time is delayed.

Anyone knows if CHC Medical Division is located in Delhi or does tests from Hospitals in India comes to Canada for finalizing.

It seems they have 2 steps Medicals.
1) tests at Hospitals in India goes to CHC.
2) CHC passes those tests to their Medical Division to final results.

Delay seems to be in the second step. My medicals were submitted on 28 Dec itself to CHC from hospital where I gave my medicals.
CHC medical Division has done nothing about it since freaking 7 weeks.

Today we got a mail from CHC for Medical Request and we completed our medical test.

congrats ...hope u will get approval as soon as possible.
I thought ND visa office is seems much busy this days

it generally takes about 5 working days for the hospital to submit the medical report to CHC and there after about a week for the final result.....I gave my medical on 5th .Therefore expecting the result early next week.

Yep, we should receive soon. Mine's closed work permit w/ LMO; applied 5th Dec.

Dear Friends... received an email early this morning from CIC with an attached letter that says.... Work Permit approved..

VFS status also changed in the afternoon... Processed Passport Received!!! going in tomorrow morning to collect it personally...

3 months!! (12th Nov - 12th Feb) not a day more, not a day less...

hi hb2 agenda....can u pls tel me how much bank balance did u show for your work permit? any idea for sowp how much bank balance needs to be show?and also can medicals be done before submitting application or do i need to wait for instructions....kindly reply

We are on a verge of loosing our jobs.. There might b many who have different serious situations... God knows what these guys r up to..
