The passport request letter mentioned
"Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport"

what this means ?

if my passport expires in 20 months .. i wont get visa for 3 years ?

your understanding is correct...you will get visa for 20 months or 1 year & 8 months...

Yes this is true. they usually make a note in the REMARKS section. You can later apply for extension after you renew your passport.

You will not loose those 10 months.

Heloo everybody.. I completed my medicals on 19 november.. And today i recevied a message from vfs that processed visa apllication. Passport in transit.. I did not get any approval mail from cic.. Does eveyone get the approval mail from cic.. Or it might be a rejection

My DMP checked it two times in 5 mins and it was showing high. he told me that i am in panic / nervous so BP was showing high.

In this case what you think ? i am really worry about it.
