Have a good news!
I got my passport with the canada visa stamped.
Application details:
Application submitted (along with current valid passport) - July 5 2013
Medical - Sent upfront along with application
Additional dcument req - old passport request on Sep 6th
Passport received with VISA - 5 Nov 2013

I will upload the tracker shortly.

Really happy to hear tht .. I on student visa ( 1 yr post grad dip ) had applied TRV for my wife n got rejectd today . Do u think i shud go aead with OWP . Huh will this rejection matter in her OWP application

I showed them 2lac liquid cash also some personnel assets..In previous refusals, they never mentioned financial point..i have experience as a chef for 7yrs.I Worked for cruise liners in US, chain restaraunts in singapore etc.i gave , work experience certificates,paystubs etc....Any how i thank all the members especially Fassu for motivating me through ur valuable suggestions...God is looking upon me..

Think quickly about getting your GCMS notes. They take a month. If you think the Embassy has not considered all the documentation you submitted, you might also request the physical file (takes 2 months)so you can see all your information in their possession upon which they made a decision. All the best.

Congrats Ben, Good luck with your travel, we both applied on the same date, for me, I just submitted my passport at VFS office for VISA stamping today.
