Hi Guys... I am new to this forum but has been reading this from quite a while.
My application was submitted on 8th April 2013
Medical Done on 14Aug
Reports Sent to Embassey 20 Aug.

But still I have not received any email and my status is still in progress. I am worried because as per latest trend it takes only around 10 days once your medical is done. Please suggest.

Hey guys today I called vfs helpline no and I found out from the representative that my emdeical information sheet has not been updated by vfs Kolkata its so frustrating I am waiting here for my visa not knowing that my doc is not been forwarded which is causing delay in my application. Such an act of negligence guys if u are facing the same prob do inquire with the vfs before its too late. Lets see long its gonna tk now....

Normally it takes 20 working days as per work permit
Application processing. As you know that there was strike so
They will process it but it might take more than 20 days
As I heard it from a friend

finally my waiting period over. I applied in dec 2012 and got medical in april .i did medical in Pune and after 2 month they told me to do sputum test. After getting clean for TB i got my approval mail today. thanks to everyone for support in this forum specially Pippin.
