what is the status on vfs site...

Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 08/11/2012 and is under processing.

1. It depends where did you stay before applying for workpermit. Please refer 'http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/dcl.asp".
2. Mostly yes. But CIC letter will indicate you " NO ".

I applied for work visa on 14 nov,2012 and haven't heard back from embassy. I am just worried what taking so long? I have already worked and studied in Canada for 3 years. anyone plz suggest me the current time frame of visa or anyone has received there work permit anytime soon. Thanks in advance.

Hi Hiamsunny,

delay is because of large number of applications ..there are many applicants from october end onwards who are waiting.

I have applied on 23rd October .Bu prior to that i got my vistor visa for 1 year stamped in the september
