hello, would like to ask about information session. I do not have 67 points to be eligible to submit application for NBPNP. Would I be able to submit application after attending the session even I lack points?

Hi,

Imo the primary requirement to be eligible is to have 67pts and above. Please check the nbpnp website. It's stated there that one must have 67pts and up to be eligible.

Hi all- question for those who have previously attended NB info sessions- they allowed registrants to bring companions right? Did you find this out on the day, or was it specified in the email that you can bring your spouse/companion?
I had my husband register for the AIPP session but it says in the email that both registration & invitation is required for those attending. I didnt register myself because i have a relative in a diff province.

You can take a plus one with you, but I believe you have to be in relation

I did about 3 weeks back, and I received the same reply what others did - Please be advised that we do not provide status updates or estimates on when a file will be completed. This is to allow our officers to devote all their time to working on files instead of responding to requests. If any additional information is needed you will be contacted. We are currently experiencing an unusually high inventory level and ask for your patience.

I have stopped thinking about NB for now. Waiting for 160+ days is insane, while they have been conducting info sessions and giving out nominations only to the IT sector.

Hopefully they are courteous enough to let us know the status as it took lot of effort, time, money and damn load of patience to get the application ready and wait for their response.

How many here from UAE and Qatar who got on the spot ITAs have never heard anything back after receiving AOR?

Six months -- no result
Now they have a pool of applicants waiting- mostly expat grade Middle east, high net worth and well experienced professionals- NBPNP can now cherry pick their NOCs streams at their own pace.

What happened to the 2 months process repeatedly mentioned in the sessions?

They are in Manila right now until the 19th for the info session for Atlantic Program. Don't lose hope I feel that they will start the nominations once they are back in NB.
