Good day! I am currently applying as a Live-In Caregiver. What are the chances that I will get denied if my NBI has a remark of "NO CRIMINAL RECORD"? Together with my documents, I already submitted all NBI clearance, court certifications and clearances that the case was already dismissed plus I also made my own explanation letter. With regards to NBI explanation letter, I wasn't able to secure one because NBI was asking for my request letter from Canadian Emabassy in which Canadian embassy haven't given or sent me thru email yet.
I'm getting confused now since I am still waiting for the request letter from the CEM. Is this a ground for refusal of visa? What if CEM didn't send me a request letter and denied me at once because I didn't submit NBI written explanation? But how can I secure or get NBI written explanation letter if CEM doesn't even send me a request letter?
I'm really getting confused. Please help and enlighten me. Additional, is NBI clearance different from NBI certification?

When did you submit your application? Just wait first for their additional request if they need a NBi certification., and then from there, write a detailed explanation regarding your dismissed case, when, where, and how it happened. They will not deny you right away unless you ignored their requests. Goodluck!
No feedback pa rin po. 1 month ago nong nagsubmit po ako ng docs ko. Nagsubmit na rin po ako ng own explanation letter ko kasama ng mga docs ko and other court docs na pinasa ko sa kanila. Request letter na lang po talaga ang hinihintay ko to get NBI written explanation. Till now, wala pa rin po akonv narereceive. Nagwoworry po ako baka irefuse pa rin nila kahit wala pa clang sinesend sa kin na request letter
Pano po yan, before hand, naipasa ko na yung mga court docs ko and my own explanation letter? Ok lang po ba yon? kahit wala pa yung NBI written explanation kasi nga po wala pa kong request letter from them
hi po.. Regarding po sa case . Same scenario po.mag papass n sana ako documents ko pero nakalagy s nbi ko no criminal record. Kukuha n ba ako explanation letter s nbi or wait ko cic mag email sken regarding sa explanation letter from nbi.? May cass po ako before pero dismmissed na and hnd po ako na convict..
Wait mo po mg request ang cic bgo k kmuha s nbi ng letter kc hahanapin dn nila request from cic before k nila gwan ng explanation letter.. for now prepare mo n ung mga documenta that ur case was dimissed.. court clearance gnyn po.. pra ready mo m xa ipasa incase
mam ung documents ko po na court celarance ,judge clearance or any supporting documents about my case hnd ko po muna ipapass?wait ko po muna hingin ng cic.pero ipreprepare ko na incase hinhin ng cic?tnx po
