Hi Malag,

I sent my application for residence to CIO. Arrived on May 23,2012.
They transfered my file to local VO on June 19,2012.
Local VO started processing on July 31,2012.
August 9,2012:Medical+ RPRF request+ PPR (1 month after medical as stated in letter)
Medical done on August 31st, appeared medical results received on E-cas on September 12,2012.
Documents and PPP sent sent on October 8,2012.
RPRF cashed on OCtober 31st,2012.
Decision Made on January 24,2013
Waiting fo my passeport as my tracking number hasn't been activated yet.

OMG people, I just received my passeport back today !!! 8) 8) 8) 8).
I am soooo happy ;D. The visa was issued on January 21,2013 and I received it on January 25th by UPS as I provided my account number.
Will plan landing in early February. God is great!!! men intelligence stops when his starts.
This is a true blessing!!!. We will keep in touch regarding the landing process.

Hi all,

anyone knows about Single journey travel document,a friend of mine from same nationality got a reply from LVO after he sent his ppt that they cant issue a visa on his passport as canada dont recognise any passports issued by our country,hence they offered him a SINGLE JOURNEY TRAVEL DOCUMENTS,where its valid for only a single time only and on a specified date and a specified flight as well,accordingly they asked him to pick a date and make a confirm ticket booking and give those details to LVO ASAP so they can stamp the visa on this SJTD .......

I am expecting to face same issue since i am of the same nationality of my friend and just sent my ppt last week,

anyone knows about this SJTD or can share a similar experience?......what if i cant make it to travel on same day....will they issue another SJTD.

My ecas finally changed from Application Received to in Process.It says -We started processing your application on January 24, 2013.

Congrats to all those who have received wonderful news and are getting their visas! I have done Medicals mid 2012, am sure like others, but we still await updates on our cases. My ECas status is IN PROGRESS and We started processing in April 2012, etc.

Lets hope for the best, and congrats again to those who have gotten their Visas.

I'm really happy, I sent a fax to Nairobi asking them the status of my visa request yesterday. U to now they haven't answered yet. I can't wait, this is stressful :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
