I think with the whole new visa office in Dar is a good thing as speeds up the process but its confusing for those who submitted their app before the whole new pilot program started. As when my file was transferred I got an email saying its transferred to Niarobi n now the website says Niarobi doesn't handle Tanzania files. So I wondered if they transferred my file from Niarobi to Dar. As I didn't received any letter saying file was transferred just know from ecas its in process. I guess I hv to wait n see which visa office requests for the pp.

Zainy all new application for those countries will be processed in Tanzania , nothing is going bk for processing to nairobi, Darsalam is a new cic visa office for east Africa , Im hoping that ur file was started in nairobi thats y and at the time DS office under pilot project or not well organized

I had emailed the NRB embassy and they asked me to send my passport to NRB so I'm guessing they transferred my application from DAR to NRB. Again, not sure how they are handling applications between DAR and NRB

Samji They transfered almost all Files from those countries. I knew it first from the GSM notes I ordered. then . Once dar embassy sent me a confirmation that they had updated my wife's adress.I had sent the request to Nairobi.I think they should have sent a notifications to all concerned files, that they were being transfered to Dar.anyway we hve no choice they are our masters.

Things change zainy some officers ask for the passport at the begining of the process while others ask for it at the end but am very sure you are gna get sme good news soon we are all inprocess and waitg gd enough i applied in the same month with you .

I think you should get your passport back by next week. for me still no news.but I am not dicouraged since it has not yet taken same time as the one you waited. almost still have 2 months to be the same time as you.

yes Most of them it took less than a month from when they sent the passport.especially after decision made most of whom I know it tooks less than 2 weeks to have their passports back.that's y I say that you will have it this week.

Good morning everyone ! My wife just gt a call from DHL Addis Ababa saying that her passport is ready for pick up and told her to pay 50 dollars , I'm so happy guys ! Wishing u all best and gd luck ! Thanks all for the help
