THanks for sharing your timeline, at least its a good sign that our Visa Office Nairobi is working.
I cannot wait to hear from them because the waiting is really too much.

Your timeline seems a bit delayed and this is due to the incomplete files you submitted at the beginning the missing Congolese PCC and divorce certificate of your ex-.
Hope you will soon get Passport request after your medicals.

Yes Camelboy, the delay was due to the divorce certificate because they spent 3 months sending me letters to provide divorce certificate instead of my husband, after I wrote to them tthat I have never been married before that is why they requested it from my husband and he sent it right away to them. Yes Rose, this is my timeline and it shows how Nairobi works and I am pretty sure they do open our files even twice a month to work on them as you can see the locations where the file had been, the dates and times. Their silence means business. I am waiting for the instructions to arrive. I already submitted passport with the original application since Mississuaga that is why they did not requested it.

Hi all, E-Cas changed to "decision made" today and it says that the office will contact my spouse on the decision. So now waiting on them to contact us on how to get the passport back .. hopefully its a positive thing and we hear soon....

Hi Solange,
Congratulations! they have sent your visa.
They never contacted us when our file changed to "decision made" but we traced our passport and through DHL they sent the ppr exactly the day it said decision made, so don't expect any thing from them but your ppt, check your mail or trace through the tracking # you got from the carrier company (hopefully they gave you 2 numbers; one for sending and the other for returning the package) .

However, does anyone know how often are interviews conducted in Nairobi?? Because sincerely since mine was cancelled after the Westgate Terrorist attack in September 2013 up to now am waiting for another date to be set. This waiting is so nagging as each day i live with the hope that soon they may set another date.
Keep me in prayer please because the whole waiting is "worrying" me & my hubby.

Am glad for you managed to spare some time to reply to my message. We order for GCMS Notes the first week of December 2013 but up to now we have not received them. My husband had sent additional (voluntary) proofs in July 2013 that included extra photos, emails, whatsapp chatlogs and since then we have not sent any more. The previous interview letter indicates that the reason for interview was to assess my relationship to my sponsor (husband) of which we have everything ready to present as proof of our relationship.
I just blame all this delay to the nasty westgate bomb attacks which caused security threats and now see how long am waiting in vein. its coming to 4 months of waiting yet my Medical will expire end of January 2014. Oh dear lord should have mercy.

We got our passport today - stamped with the visa on Jan 8th, was quite fast ... Our journey took 4 months and 3 weeks.

Am shocked to see that you're still struggling with the interview,i came back to see how is everyone holding on as I thought by now you should have been here in Canada,its absolutely not faire with what they're doing now.I know it really sucks for them to make you and your hubby wait this long. My prayers are with you all, I hope they solve the situation soon and make you join your husband.
As for me,am doing fine but i'm on that phase of getting my a** kicked in getting a job, even though I have plenty of experience but seriously it sucks being asked hundreds of times if I have a Canadian experience,i thank God am with my husband but am losing my mind with the job situation.I guess it's one of the sacrifice or challenge I should say for us women who are career minded,lol! The cold is absolutely terrifying especially right now that I go to several interviews and some bus stop are just pole stand so you can imagine I freeze my a** off,ha.ha.ha it's funny the way I see it but it's all life experience.
Two months and almost two weeks in Canada and i've got my PR card,it took 56 days and for my Ontario ID card it took 5 weeks (this is given for those who don't have a driver license) I applied for health card last week which they said it will take 3 months to get it but I was given a receipt that shows that am entitle to start using this service on February and for the Social insurance number was the first one to arrive in two weeks after I landed.
Still adjusting slowly and I know for those who got their visa...congratulations and welcome to Canada! and for those who are waiting,this will be over and you'll join your spouses soon. And without forgetting that you'll have that Canadian experience. Either with the bus,interview or a job we will all get there on way or the other: :-*

Furthered medical instructions email was sent to the panel physician who examined me in the past. Nairobi today Saturday sent us an email saying before decision can be reached on my file, furthered medical examinations have to be done. Here is my question, How long will it take for Nairobi to received the results from London?
