-.- Obviously I couldn't make it clearer to you. He's a complete moron, SO I WENT TO MY MPP. And I wasn't talking about the MP or the MPP burying the file, I'm talking CIC. I've had nothing but bad experiences with CIC and they left a bad taste in my mouth. After rude CIC call center operators, rude officers at the actual offices (before they were closed) and rude American Border Patrol officers, I have little to no faith in them and I don't put it past them to do something like that. Also, they work for a conservative aka Harper. Need I say more?

And Steph, I apologize, but with CJG, I have no patience for him. Nor this paprico person. Calling me a "mofo" set me off. Not impressed. Wish there was a way of blocking people on here. Did get a good suggestion from a friend though, will probably do what she mentioned.

You don't have to "make it clearer for me", I think I can understand well enough. But you said they told you that, which is still convenient for them. That CIC has some rude staff is not being contested. But you were saying "THEY CAN AND WILL IGNORE YOU AND SHOVE YOUR FILE TO THE BOTTOM" as a given. Sorry, I am not buying it. I agree with scos here because God save us if a CIC officer could so easily ignore and shove your file to the bottom. They have supervisors and they are accountable to them. Even in countries like mine public servants may not and wont do as they please!

lol i think one of the best myths i heard was that once a person recieved pr they were not allowed to leave Canada for 1 year

Well I certainly didn't intend to become the topic of any conversation. I'm merely the messenger. Thank you to those that share the same conclusions and sense of humour. Though it doesn't reflect why there are so many minuses beside my name..... . Maybe they are all gifts from Parker.....
Steph, Scos, Goonerclank, Lucky, Tagum and everyone else from the English Manila thread have spent a great deal of time trying to find the formula that makes CIC do what they do. Not only as a means to help ourselves but to help others in the same situation. By my nature I am proactive and a fighter. If you are getting burned by the flames of a fire some may chose to fan the heat away; I opt to piss on the coals. In this case what do you lose? You run the risk that they are going to delay your process more than it already has been nor you draw attention that they have neglected to provide you the service for which you have paid well in advance for.

My wife received her visa 24 hours after my last email. She will be landing on the 15th of June around 4pm and eating my delicious cooking when she arrives in Winnipeg at 1 am Sunday morning. That is of course if she doesn't go crazy at the Starbucks in Vancouver Airport.

I fully appreciate that my personality is not for everybody. I'm not a bad guy but I can come across like a fart in a crowded elevator...momentarily unpleasant but thankful that it wasn't anything worse....

Maybe it's coincidence, but any time Jeep Guy (or me, for that matter) emailed CEM or talked to our MP's, the reaction from the VO was instant. If the application was shoved under a bunch of other applications we wouldn't be seeing these instant results.

we didn't email often, but when we did it was a fast response and right away we got the next step. it definatly "lite a fire under there ass" so to speak lol.
