My work experience is not continuous for 3 years.

I worked in company A for 7 months and in company B for 2 years and 6 months.
I read from the CIC page that work experience has to be continuous. My question is will I get points for 2 years or 3 years ?
Please help.

Work exp needs to be continuous in the primary noc for 1 yr. Not 3. You will get points for 3 yrs. You need to use noc for company B

Please correct me if i'm wrong. My experience in the company for which I use NOC has to be at least 1 year. Other than that the split in my work experience isn't an issue for the total experience. Yeah ?
