Hey guys, so I have made blunders on my PR journey and wanted to know how to handle this.

My country has a mandatory work program established by the government, and I did this before coming to Canada - I was 21 at the time.

I was working another tech job while doing my country’s work program but since I didn’t want any one to know I was overemployed (had 2 jobs) at the time I didn’t officially declare this in my study permit application. Now it’s coming to bite me in the ass, I was 21 and didn’t know any better.

I applied for pr with 533 points and the tech job foreign experience, and started seeing posts of ircc banning people for misrepresentation because of this so I withdrew my pr application, sad day.

I went back to check my LOE I used in my study permit and I found out that I did mention my government work experience there. I just didn’t add it to the form.

So now that I withdrew my old pr application, do you think I should send a new one in and use the government work experience? Knowing I didn’t formally declare it but I mentioned I completed it in my study permit LOE?

Will this raise questions? Probably right. But I do have the proof I worked at the tech job. Have pictures of me at work there, reference letter, quitting letter, emails between me and hr from the company, and they can call the company to confirm. Only problem is I just didn’t mention it in study permit.

I have 3 years Canadian experience and my work permit ends January so I’m running out of time.

Can I use the government one? Or I can’t use any of them? Stressful times from a dumb mistake I made as a kid. I’m 26 now with a Canadian child. If I can add a foreign experience my score will be 548
