HI there,
I am a fresh PhD graduate (in Biochemistry) from Pakistan and now intend to apply for canadian immigration.
I am working as grade 18 principal research officer in an government institution. The job is just started and hence I have less than 1 year experience now.
How do you guys think should I proceed my application?
Thanks

Hi,

You will be eligible under the category of "Biologists and other scientists" , NOC code 2121 which is a new addition to the list. Yes, you need experience to apply. Go through the CIC website and the Forum threads for informations.

NOC code 2121 will be the way to go, however, I will suggest that you wait until you get one year of experience in your job before you apply.
Cheers,
