Can somebody please help? I am about to sponsor my husband. We've been together for 5 yrs, married for 3 yrs. This yr i will be able to sponsor him. He is working here in Canada as seasonal worker for 15 yrs now. Before he go in USA without any visa and stays there for 5 yrs, working without visa. Will it get any impact on our application? You and your spouse had been together for 5 years. Why this year and not one of the preceding?
How could you be together for 5 years then? You would have had to start dating as soon as your marriage broke down. How long had you been living with your spouse in Canada before you separated? Was this an arranged marriage? How much time had you spent in person before you got married? After marriage before you arrived in Canada? been inHow did he keep on getting WPs if he had been living in the US without status for 5 years. Did he declare his time in the US? As a seasonal worker he would be returning to his home country every year is that correct? How much time does he spend in Canada every year? Seasonal workers often live onsite and often work more than 5 days a week did you ever live together? Do you live close to his employer? How much time are you able to spend together while in Canada? Did you visit him in his home country?

to be exact, we are only married for 2.5yrs. My other relationship is common law. We've been together for 2 yrs. Then i met my husband after almost 1 yr of being separated. We've dated for 1.5yrs before we got married. He was in USA BEFORE. The last time he was there was 2009. Then 2013 he applied here in canada as seasonal worker. So he is working here 13yrs now. And yes, we leave together when he is here in canafa for about 5 to 6mos. And every year, in 4 yr, i am visiting him and the family in Mexico, for 3 weeks.
But i think i got the answer already. The form is just asking us about the last 10yrs for his address. So i don't have to add the USA address when he is undocumented. Since that was 16yrs ago.. am I right?
