Hi All,

I am an international student in Canada and am going to apply under FSWP.

After applying for my post grad work permit, I worked at a store for a month only until I found the job that I preferred. Now as I am required to show a complete history of past 10 years, I also need to show that 1 month experience I have in Canada. But unfortunately, my mean employer is not ready to sign my letter. I am very scared if that would affect my application.

I have all the letters and paper work for all other jobs that I did, it is only this 1 month job letter that I am stuck with.

Please advise.

Don't worry about it at all. It was a survival job you aren't depending on for points. Just explain the nature of the job and that you aren't claiming points and that you could not get a letter. It's nothing to worry about at all.

I have worked for 9 Months under a prof doing research stuff. It was a part time job. I got a letter from the university stating that I had worked from them, but would not disclose my job details. First I thought to get a letter from the prof, but then I do not think, it is worth the effort, IMHO.
