My Daughter Foreign Passport Expired

Just noticed that my daughter's foreign passport expired 2 months ago (Ukrainians in Canada, refugee status). Should I be worried that we did not apply earlier and how long it will be to get it?

If you have applied for PR through a refugee claim, you should not be renewing your home county passport.
