After much hype and waiting here is what I see when I link my application:

Application/profile status-Open
Review of eligibility-Review in Progress
Review of medical results-Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview -Not needed at this time
A background check is needed-Not Started
Final decision-Not Started

Do you think when it says the review of eligibility is in progress it means they are actually working on it? My last notes showed they had done nothing.

I knew the medical had been passed from ordering my notes but other than that it seems to show nothing at this stage that ECAS didn't already show. I thought someone had said it would show you the last time someone looked at your file. A few people even said we would no longer need to order notes with this new site. This is definitely no replacement for ordering notes and I for one will be doing that again soon. I tried to keep my expectations low about My CIC but I still feel disappointed I waited months for this. Did anyone learn anything helpful?

It is definitely no replacement for GCMS notes.

However, it does provide a much more detailed overview than ECAS and allows you to recieve correspondence directly to the account so there will be no more lost or not recieved emails.

I reorder GCMS notes the day they arrive, and will continue to do so even with this new tool.

I failed on my first attempt so changed the number of people in the application to include the sponsor (thanks to Iamabule) and it worked.

Can you please send me the link that shows step by step how to order them? I think it's about time we order ours. We applied in Jan of this year and after AOR2 we haven't heard anything.

I agree. Do you think in progress under eligibility means they have started working on it or is it the same as in Process in ECAS, which means nothing other than they have recieved it?

It's very simple.

Have the PA fill the consent form. PA info in Section A, Sponsor in Section C, select email.

Sign and scan the form.

Upload it when prompted.

For the actual ordering of the notes, you want to choose permanent residence, and the electronic notes of the visa officer.

Everything else is very straight forward.

I applied in February. I'm waiting on my fourth set of notes now which the due date is July 31. I will reorder them once they arrive.

What I like about MyCIC opposed to ECAS is that it actually shows the individual assessments and not just that the app is in process.

I do believe if eligibility says in progress that they are working on it.

My last GCMS said my paper file was transferred reason eligibility, so it does make sense that it's in progress.

Thank you, that's very helpful.

So under section C, the PA completes my details and signs under 'Signature of Representative'?

I imagine sections B and D remain blank?

PA signs section A.

B and D blank, yes.

For section C, question 3, the PA inputs my details there? What happens to question 4?

They updated this form this month. Last time I had my wife fill it there was no signature of representative in Section C.

I'm actually not sure if sponsor needs to sign there or not.

She just entered my name and email address and checked "email" to recieve the file.

Yes it will be more helpful than ECAS, especially if it's updated more regularly. It will be great to know when eligibility is passed as that is what I am waiting to see so I know there is no interview.

To confirm what you think about eligibility (I hope you are right, after being in process for over 4 months I sure hope they have started looking at our file!) we need someone who is in process under ECAS but shows not started under eligibility review in MyCIC. Does anyone's look like that?
