But my medicals has not passed yet. And I don't know since when my status was "background check : not applicable". And how could my background check will change to "in progress" if it's not applicable? So confused.
Pacificislander, how long after you "noticed" your bg was N/A to medicals passing?

Submitted March 17th.

My background today changed from "We received your application the next step is to conduct background check" to "Not Applicable". today. Medicals not passed yet.
Hey, what is default state of Background check? Isnt it "Not applicable"? I cant remember
Is this the first time your BG check changed? Were you IP already?

Im also NA but applied 22 April. I dont remember if it was like that since the beggining....

It started with We received your application the next step is to conduct background check" as the first status. Now it is "Not applicable".

They changed the status headings early this year, so before it was NA/IP/NA etc, now it seems to be "We received your application the next step is to conduct background check" then IP... but mine went to NA... No medicals passed yet.

Same, mine went from "Next step is to conduct...." to "Not Applicable". This is the first time I'm seeing "Not Applicable" in my application.

Good to know! Thank you! Have you passed meds yet?

Strange. So mine changed a few days after AOR to NA. Dont have a clue what that even means.
Yes, but now it goes like this: NA-NS (IP1)-NA-IP2-PPR so this is normal, it seems you're at stage 1. Some people didnt even see a change and they got PR. You never know..

Yep already passed medical around 11th April. Background was already "Next step is to conduct..." even before medical passed.

I like you! You can stay ;)

Many thanks. I've never paid much attention to the status changes in the past that people have reported. Suddenly now it seems a bit important!

We all start with "We received your application the next step is to conduct background check". Usual flow is then Medicals passed then Background goes to N/A.

Mine has gone to NA but no meds passed yet.

That's what I am hoping. I need a NZ pcc so CIC have to apply on my behalf. I'm thinking may be it has to do with that and that my application is technically incomplete till CIC obtain the PCC?

Ugh...

Possible, maybe it will stay this way until they get it.

Hey all

I submitted e-APR on 9th of May and received AOR within a couple of hours. My medical status says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." I have done an upfront medical examination on 29th of April. Does this mean the medical reports have not been uploaded by the hospital yet or it is too early for CIC to start checking anything in my profile?

Way too early for CIC to look at your medicals. It's the default status.
