Ok, so an update as far as Mumbai University attestation procedures are concerned.
1. It is the Churchgate branch, NOT Kalina. (Been established in the past, making sure that it's the same)
2. The good news is that current processing times are excellent - I went there today (on a Monday) and they had no pending attestations from the previous week. So, safe to assume wait time will not be more than 48-72 hours.
3. If your marksheets are older than a decade, please carry a transcript - your college will issue it for you. They will not entertain any exceptions in this case (unless you are really lucky)
4. They check originals without fail.
5. Please do your own research. Education and immigration counsellors tell their clients some FACTS that are contradictory to the actual FACT. They are humans after all, so they make mistakes.
6. Carry smaller envelopes and one large envelope for each set of documents. All envelopes must have the WES Ref No and address of WES Canada on top - you can complete this at the university as they have the address on their door as well.
7. If you are sending for example 3 copies of Degree A, carry 4 copies - one for the university's record and the rest 3 for your institutions.
