What you have advised about passport is not mandatory and waste of efforts . Please note what I am writing here in case you would like to help someone with the similar query.

@AtImechE you will need Current and VALID Passport only. You will need Bio Page + The page with any markings + Visa + Stamps (all from current and valid passport only). IRCC is not interested in your expired travel document.
Now if you have all the travels + visas and stamps in your expired passports then they are of no use to IRCC. BUT, I would always advise people that in case you are currently employed overseas and the valid visa of that country is on your expired passport then get your expired passport bio page + valid Visa scanned + the page where there is passport cancellation stamp.

Coming back to your query about MULTIPLE written, it is actually Umbrella term to cover all applicants. Multiple refers to the passport pages not expired passports. So here it means Bio Page + The page with any markings + Visa + Stamps (all from current and valid passport only).

well, if in ur travel history, u indicated that u have travelled to other countries and d visa pages and stamps are in ur old invalid passport, my advise is that u scan and send it along side with ur valid passport and also, make sure u get police clearance for those countries if u have stayed for more than six months cummulatively. my application was rejected because i didnt include my visa pgs and stamp pgs and also police clearance for the country i had travelled to after i had indicated it in my form. so plsssssss, dont want u to be a victim as i was. jst do as u are instructed. if u r confused, they is always a help button at the corner of where u r to upload ur doc,read it.that was my mistake,i didnt read.

If you are talking about his Police certificate from countries that he has not visited after PCC was issued then expired PCCs will also work. If the PCC is from current country of residence then it shall not be more than 6 months old.
For bank statements it is strongly advised that it should not be older than 2 weeks at the time of eAPR.

Keep the scenarios explained above in mind to know if he wants new docs or not.

IRCC does not verify your travel history and residence history from your passport stamps:

Reason: If you have German Passport ( from EU) then you are free to live in any member state for as long as 6 months. You can also work there. You could come and go between these countries without getting entry exit stamps or visas even if you have resident visa of a single member state.
I live in UAE, and we have something called e-gates, where the entry exit is recorded for database and no entry exit stamps. If you have children under May be 4 years old then one parent is advised to go through regular counters where they get entry exit stamps. My wife has all the stamps, while I never get stamps.

In Canada itself, there is no exit stamp !. So visas and entry/exit stamps are not a merit of anything !
You could have been rejected because:
-- You did not scanned all the pages of valid passport
-- you did not gave them PCC (as you have mentioned)

For work experience, what docs do I need to upload if any apart from official experience letter from HR? Do I need to include contract letter and payslips etc?

Really sorry to hear about your misfortune. In my case even though all my visas and stamps are on expired passports, some of the visas are issued on bio metric cards instead of usual visa stickers on passport. I have PCC for my stay abroad but I was concerned it will be confusing if I upload old passport with missing visa stickers on them. There is no way for me to prove that my stays were legal. I didn't bother scanning bio metric cards and handed them back to immigration once visa expired.

do attach payslip, experience letter, contract letter. I am sure together they will have jobs and responsibilities listed as per the chosen NOC.

Don't worry about it. They'll accept it regardless of if it's interchanged.

I have seen people been delayed for an year, even though their cases were straightforward. No one can answer this question accurately !

Its been 8 months for myself and I have not heard a thing !
