I had applied for a TRV on 5th Sept attaching my WP confirmation letter citing the delay in PGWP and my job back in Canada as a reason to travel since I could come back and work in Canada while my PGWP was being processed.
The TRV is being processed in India. I have not received any updates for the TRV in the last month even after attaching my approved work permit and travelling to Dubai for Biometrics. Not even a confirmation that the document is attached and as per my call with IRCC, it's not. No calls or emails are being answered in India.
I have three options now:
1. Keep following up on my TRV and try to move it back to Canada since my Primary residence is in Canada.
2. File another application while this application is in a blackbox. This application will probably be processed in Canada since my primary address is Canada and I have a valid work permit. In that case, I can withdraw the other application as soon as one is processed.
3. Withdraw the old application completely before filing a new application.
Anyone has experience with such cases?
