Hi, lawyer has told me that until AIP is reached, we cannot be put on healthcare here. However, I have just read 'A spouse or a child of an eligible B.C. resident may also be deemed a resident provided that an application for permanent residence status has been accepted for processing by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), and the application remains active'. Is this true?At what point is it deemed accepted? I am currently visiting my husband in vancouver with my 2 toddlers, and I don't want to return back to UK. I have been here 4 months, and now am desperately trying to find some health coverage, and the 'quickest' way for me and kids to get on healthcare...my son has dairy allergy. We are leaning on doing outside app, (been together for 12 years) as its quicker, and extending our visa's here as visitor. Does anyone have some clarity on at what point we can get msp coverage?
