Dear Friends,
i'm applying for MPNP with sponsor stream. i'm bit confuse with employment points.
i did two part time jobs at same time 2009-2014 (16hrs+24 hrs/week) and both jobs has same occupation (cook). basically i worked 40 hrs every week, but with two different employer. now will my work count as full time work experience or it will score 0 point in employment.coz its part time not full time.
i know in federal program full time work can covered with two part time jobs, but not sure with manitoba program.
kindly anybody please share some advice. i'm looking to apply within this month.

Thanks,

Hi Guys .... How are you doing ?

Just was filling my CIC form IMM 0008 . I have applied through MPNP General Stream and just got struck in question no 7 of the form .

I have not received any Certificat de Selection du Quebec (CSQ) . It has some options to be filled in like when did I get it and the number for CSQ ?

I am sure it is for the persons applying for Quebec !!! Is it ? What am I supposed to write in the three sections in question 7 ?

Please helpppppppppp.

thanks .

I am not really sure why there is a delay on April Batch, i have noticed this as well. I hope you receive it the soonest. I think me not providing the email add in Generic form was a blessing. ;) And yes, i have done my medical yesterday.

This is not applicable to you. This is for those you have applied via Quebec Skilled Worker Scheme.

Thanks Kurt. I hope you are right. I'm eager to finish my medical as soon as I receive the MR. Huge Sigh. ::)

I should have placed CEM as my VO should I have known that they process cases faster... (That's the least I can expect from our country where slugs moves faster than any paper works ;) - now it seems that things are getting better and I'm pleased to be proven wrong this time).

According to GKarl, CIO still has the last say on which VO they will transfer the files.

Can I apply to the MPNP if I want to live in another part of Canada?
Posted on April 17, 2014 by policy
No, you cannot.

A connection to Manitoba and the intention to live in this province is a foundation of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program.

The MPNP selects educated and experienced skilled workers and entrepreneurs with job-ready English who demonstrate a genuine desire and plan to establish their careers, their families and their homes in the Canadian province of Manitoba as permanent residents.

In your MPNP application, you must disclose whether you have family in another province, and whether you worked, studied or visited in a Canadian province other than Manitoba. You must list all previous immigration applications, including applications for temporary work permits, student visas, refugee claims, federal skilled worker or family class applications, and applications to provincial nominee programs in other provinces of Canada.

If you meet all MPNP criteria, but have a connection to a different province or city in Canada deemed to be stronger than your connection to Manitoba, your application may be rejected.

hii pndrana thanks for reply.
but i cant live in nova scotia but only applied to nova scotia and application is pending.
in manitoba application i describe them that i have a stronger connection to manitoba through my friend rather than nova scotia where i have no friend.
so,what do you think about that?

Hi guys and ladies I have question.my parents are living in Winnipeg for last one year and I have job living in Saskatoon.somebody told my parents that mpnp can reject your application if all family members are not living in Manitoba.can u tell me is that true or not.

Oh isee, what is your VO? Actually, most of us think that VO outside Manila is much faster, unless you really have researched on it. Anyway, i am positive it will come soon. :D

I placed London to be my VO because according to the cic website, London handle pr application for applicants residing in Qatar. But one of our forum mates mentioned that CIO will decide on which VO to transfer the file. He placed CEM as his VO in the form but they transferred his file to ADVO because that is closer to Qatar.

I was actually surprised to find out that CEM visa office has faster processing time. I was not aware of thus forum when I submitted my application... I should have known better...

I hope you are right... :)

i see. london i think has 2 years processing time. The table of CIC of VO is quite convicing, if i were you, i have put the same VO since it is instructed that way. Have you requested a transfer already?
