Hello, I badly need advise.

I currently have 785 CRS points with post-grad education in Manitoba. The last cut off is 825.

Now, the crucial part is I have work experience back in my home town where I work 4 months--- gap ---- 4 months for the same company since that is a contractual (full-time) job only. Combining my 6 months work experience here in Manitoba, can I combine and claim 1 year experience so my score will go up to 825? What are the chances that the cutoff will go down?

From the site....
You must calculate the total amount of full years of work experience you have completed over the last 5 years prior to the date you are submitting your Expression of Interest.

In calculating your total amount of full years of work experience, you can count periods of full-time employment for which you worked for an employer for six months or more. Full-time employment is defined as at least 30 hours of work over the period of one week.

So you would have also included that work experience in study and work permits, because if not that would be misrepresentation. If your NOC isn't being selected then go back and see if education in Manitoba scores go below 785.
