Thanks znarfier,

I don't have any of the connections mentioned under Factor 5: Adaptability Connection.

Also I am not sure about "Morden City", is it something like we have to select this city as destination and then submit EOI?

Also Please help with this question "If your occupation is regulated in Manitoba, are you fully recognized by the provincial licensing body after undergoing all steps of having your qualifications assessed? " I fall under NOC 2173, and Have 4+ years of Work Ex. and ECA Assessed. SHould I select Yes or No?

Nadia786, since the MPNP has not announced the minimum required Ranking Points, we have no idea how strong our application is. As Long as you qualify to submit an EOI, then let's hope fo rthe best and meanwhile, try to check if you can improve your Points on any of the factors on:

• your language ability
• your education
• your work experience
• your adaptability and other factors

Goo dluck!

THANKS FOR THE REPLY. CAN U OR ANYBODY HELP ME WITH MY FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

1. I HAVE TWO YEARS BACHELOR DEGREE AND TWO YEARS MASTERS DEGREE. (Toatal 16 years education).WILL I GET MARKS FOR MASTER DEGREE?... or SHOULD I SELECTED TWO POST SECONDARY DEGREES OF 2 YEARS EACH ?

2. I ALSO HAVE TWO YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE BEFORE BACHELOR DEGREE. AND I HAVE TWO YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE AFTER MASTER DEGREE. MY WORK EXPERIENCE WILL BE COUNT FOR 2 YEARS OR 4 YEARS?

:'(

That's what I thought Znarfier, I was a bit surprised of the point system but anyway, the best part is that most of us here were accepted and made it through the first step EOI.

May we all continue to support each other.

Forum friends, if anyone of us here happen to received their LAA. Please inform everyone in here! God bless us all and good luck... :) :D :D :D

1. If you already finished your masters and have the evidence (Transcript + Diploma/Certificate, etc.) then you should select Masters Degree or Doctorate for 125 pts! :)

2. Again, if you have some evidence, i.e. Certificate of Employment for both, then you should declare that you have 4 yrs work experience. With that you'll get 75 Points!

Good luck!

Hello znarfier,

Already in the EE pool with 357 score, since it's hovering around 450, my chance with EE seems to be very less, or it could take long long time. so I was planing to go with some Nomination program, but unfortunately most of them require job offer or any connection to the Province, which I don't have.

Let see if I find any friend or make any friend in Manitoba, or someone find me to help me :)

Thanks for the clarification Znarfier. But it think i will get 50 points only for work experience because they don't consider work experience prior to 5 years. In last 5 years, i have only two years experience.

Well i have another question: To get 100 extra points of experience, it should be "fully recognized by provincial licensing body". But we can apply for a trade certificate only if once we land in Canada and have PR. HOW CAN WE GET OUR EXPERIENCE FULLY RECOGNIZED BY LICENSING BODY" ? have any idea?

:-X

Oops, now I see... yeah... 2+2+2+2=8 if im not mistaken...then they say, past 5 years...

According here... one has to undergo a credential assessment:

What is credential assessment?

A credential assessment is advice on how qualifications from another country compare to Canadian qualifications. An assessment does not guarantee that a regulatory body will issue you a licence to practise nor that your credentials will be accepted by a Canadian employer.

Skilled immigrants applying under a federal program through Citizenship and Immigration Canada must submit a credential assessment as part of their immigration application. MPNP applicants in skilled trades may be required to submit a similar assessment of their training and work experience.

While not necessarily required, a credential assessment will help anyone considering moving to Canada to understand the Canadian educational system and the labour market, and assist you with your job search.

Have your credentials assessed by one of Canada’s recognized evaluation services. Each is a member of the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC). To locate a recognized evaluation services go to ACESC members list. Additional information on international credentials is also available at the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC).

Remember: For professions and trades, each regulatory body conducts its own credentials assessment as one of the steps in the licensing, registration or certification process.
