Hi, I am April applicant and my status is also received, but I believe it will change any day soon.
As long as you IELTS was valid when you applied I do not think you will have any problem. If they have a problem with it they will request a new one but I strongly doubt this.
Best of luck, BE POSITIVE ;D

Yes,

I myself am a February 2014 applicant and my status changed to Assessment Pending since November 2014 . . . .

No interview yet 'till the present . . . . . Keeping the hopes alive!!! That's all I can do . . . .

Thanks for the encouragement Althea, but you see, my Assessment Pending status is already 4 months old. I would be very trilled if it's already "Assessment In Process" by this time. I don't understand the waiting nor the processing time. I read that other applicants already got their "Assessment in Process" status as early as 4 months from application (how lucky). Geez, mine is already more than a year old. Why are there big differences in the timelines (the basis is not clear to me)?

Furthermore, after getting the provincial nomination, we shall again be put on a "waiting game" when we process and submit our applications to CIC. I have read from the other forum topics that after MPNP nomination, some applicants also wait for almost a year for their PPR alone after acknowledgement of receipt from CIC ....

These will really test your patience and may put some of your major plans on hold until you've exhausted all the chances of migrating to Manitoba (ex. I may delay my plan to buy a house for my family (instead of renting), or a better car, or important things similar to that, and opt to save the money for ample settlement funds). I hope, pray and stays optimistic for a positive result for this application because of all the efforts and time we spent on it. Patience is truly a virtue.

Hello,

I am a newbie. I want to ask your opinion regarding my Status:

Date of Application: May 3, 2014
Application Received: May 4, 2014
Assessment Pending: January 21, 2015

I read a few letters in this forum that in between Assessment Pending and Assessment in Process, there was a "Sponsor's Interview". Is that always the case? My Sponsor had a vacation here in the Philippines from January 6 to February 25, 2015. Will there be a problem if my Sponsor was not able to get that Interview?

Please share any ideas that you may have.

Thanks in advance.

Popo

Hi

I know this all too well..........to avoid a long story I have been trying to immigrate for a lonnnnnnnnnnng time, there was always a change in law, occupations lists, closing of a particular program or something..........I am well aware of life being in "limbo" as I always say. I have put off so many opportunities because of immigration.

I agree 100%............patience truly is a virtue............and digging deep to find it requires heavens strength.

Take care

Althea
