I just wanna to know wht kind of questions r asked in an interview. Also let me know if an applicant too is interviwed or only sponsor.

Thanks for sharing .... I'm really just venting .... We really have no choice, it's their country and we really just want to take advantage of the oppurtunity that they're sharing - as they welcome us to apply for immigration. Having said that, theirs is the power to decide ... and to scrutinize ... and to process our application at their own pace.

Don't worry too much.... You will soon be on "assessment pending" status that will right away change to "assessment complete" in a short time. . . which is better than having an "assessment pending" status being on for 4 months

There are instances when I am contemplating to also set my own timeline - a tip-off time when I'll prioritize deciding based on the now and present vs. the "who knows when I'll set foot and start from scratch" in Canada ... Although, I do my best to try and avoid having such thought...

Thanks for the encouragement Althea, but you see, my Assessment Pending status is already 4 months old. I would be very trilled if it's already "Assessment In Process" by this time. I don't understand the waiting nor the processing time. I read that other applicants already got their "Assessment in Process" status as early as 4 months from application (how lucky). Geez, mine is already more than a year old. Why are there big differences in the timelines (the basis is not clear to me)?

Applications are not processed in the order they are received. They process stronger applications and/or applications of people already working in Manitoba faster than people who are not in Manitoba or just barely make the requirements. My boyfriends MPNP was approved in less than 5 months but he had a score of 80 and was already living and working in Manitoba.

After MPNP approval, do we have to file PR application through regular CIC application process or Express Entry Process? Can we able to file in both of them?

only via regular process unless specifically mentioned that you have to apply via Express Entry!!

Congrats to you. I am from Nigeria, i submitted Jan 2014, was interviewed early this Jan 2015, status still Assessment in Process. How much longer do i have to wait. Does it take this long usually? I am worried. I heard 2 officers will process one application.

Received file# same day.

Status changed to Information Requested Oct 2014

Interviewed on the phone 13 Jan 2015

Have not heard from them since then. I am worried. Does it usually take this long after interview? How much longer do i have to wait
