Congrats to you. I am from Nigeria, i submitted Jan 2014, was interviewed early this Jan 2015, status still Assessment in Process. How much longer do i have to wait. Does it take this long usually? I am worried. I heard 2 officers will process one application.

Thanks Chuchuhez! I really don't know how they assess or process each application. All we need to do is wait. I've read in some thread that there are still some 2013 applicants waiting for updates in their application.
All I can say is pray while waiting.... I hope one of these days you'll receive an update

Jan 29,2015 - Missing doc (PR and Health Card) sent
Feb 02,2015 - Assessment Pending status
Feb 10,2015 - sponsor's interview
Feb 11,2015 - Assessment in Process status
Feb 19,2015 - Assessment Complete
Feb 26,2015 - LOA received by my sponsor - letter dated Feb 17

Now will be preparing for the needed docs to be submitted at CIC.

Hi Guys, Can anybody tell me the current processing time for MPNP files?
I applied in October 2014 through employer direct stream after working one year in MB. Currently my online status shows Assessment Pending and it has been there since more than 3 months. I am on restoration period and bit worried whether I have to leave the country or I can still stay? I stopped working when my application for extension for work permit got denied and sitting home since then. When we go to Nominee office nobody tells anything related to the file but says just to wait. If anybody knows anyone whose file got approved or any changes in the status please let me know.

Applications are not processed in the order they are received. They process stronger applications and/or applications of people already working in Manitoba faster than people who are not in Manitoba or just barely make the requirements. My boyfriends MPNP was approved in less than 5 months but he had a score of 80 and was already living and working in Manitoba.

If what you are saying is most likely what is happening, then in essence MPNP is already processing applications similar to the "Express Entry" guidelines (higher score prioritization). So, even if I've passed their standards/requirements and I'm 5 months ahead with my application, I'll be bumped off by new (buzzer beater) applicants with higher scores?

I thought they'll only apply this system this year, 2015 and this will not affect their processing of previous applicants? :'(

Also, I wonder how long will they wait to process applicants "who barely make the requirements"?
If my score is, say 79, do they put my application on hold for like 5 months, until later they are sure that there are no more new applicants with a higher score of at least 80 (higher score prioritization)?
Will they put mine on hold while they wait for other higher scoring applicants to come? :'( :-[

Wanted a suggestion I submitted the file online on June 2013 at that time my IELTS was submiited . After long wait of 18 months now i received the LOA letter date 29th feb 2015. But the question is my IELTS had been expired on nov 2014 . Should i take new one as here the dates which are available are of may 2015 . Orelse i should send the one which i send while online mpnp . Please suggest as very much worried .

As i read in cic the link is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp but can understand well hope a reply for every one who can suggest

I don't agree with you Mbgirlfriend. Applications of those within Canada were processed faster than those abroad last year because the quota apportioned for overseas applications was exhausted at some point this led to MPNP stopping the collection of applications in July 2014. However, they were attending to those within Canada because their quota wasn't exhausted. Read MPNP site very well. Before now you get your LOA within 6 months whether you are within or outside Canada.
