Hello Seniors,

Greetings to everyone.

I need some clarification: I submitted my application to CIO on May 12, 2014 and this week will make 60 days and I'm yet to get AOR. This is kind of unusual going by the timeline of other forumites as it takes average of 30 days to get AOR. Is there a means of getting in touch with CIO to get clarification for an applicant without a UCI number?

Forum friends... please advice on the following..

1. In the pnp document check list it is no where mentioned to submit sealed educational degrees. What shud i do? Those who have submitted the case to cic.. did u submit the educational degrees?

2. Same goes for employment record.... detailed job description is not asked for...
Shud we strictly stick to the check list or we shud send these documents
Please advice urgently...

I would advise you to stick with the checklist.
By the way what did you mean by sealed documents.
If I got that is only notarized documents in PNP stage.
And in CIO there is also never mentioned about job descriptions/duties.
I would recommend you to follow strictly to the checklist.
Anything else.

It takes minimum of one month before they inform you. I sent mine in february and got confirmation and medical in march.

Ohhh forgot to mention
above mentioned time is applicable if you applied from inside canada but if you applied from outside canada, it will take longer.

HI everyone, i have a question regarding our application to CIC for PRV, my husband is the principal applicant and he just received his LOA last week, we, (me and our kids) will not accompany him, we plan on going there in about a year after he had settled there already. do we have to apply (his dependents) and pay the PF/RPRF also along with his? or is it okay if we'll just pay for his (principal applicant) PF/RPRF first then we'll just pay for ours(dependents) when we are all ready to go to MB? kindly help me, hope you can answer my question.. thank you in advance!

You can do either way. In case you want to lodge the application along with his, the validity of the visa is most of the time, a year, so you can readily fly if he has already settled and before your visa expires.

However, if you will lodge your application later or separately, the difference is you will go through the same checks as his and it might take longer than 1 year as you planned.

Either way, it's okay depending on your circumstance and choice.

I think u and ur kids should accompany him while u can fly later within expiry of visa. If u apply later then u may have longer time but its totally ur choice.
If u and ur kids accompany him then u have to pay ur PF/RPRF otherwise not. Then u just pay ur husband PF& RPRF.

I just found that my birth certificate carries wrong motherz name... its a misprint from the issuing authority and how insane of me that i did not check it at.the time of mpnp application submission. Today i will get.my rectified birth cert but please advice what shud i do now?
Shud i send rectified birth cert to cic? Then wudnt it contradict with mpnp records? Or i shud send an explanation letter also along eith rectified cert.
Or... shud i inform mpnp office also about it..
GOD i m sooo confused...
