Apply for permanent residency at CIC. When did you submit your application?

We submit last July 2013 and had an interviewed last November 2013.

Is there still a chance you will be denied after you received the LOA? thanks much.

MPNP already abolished the stream last year. I couldn't recall which month. If I'm correct it was starting April 2013. All application are under one stream.

Here is a guide to know if your Family Stream :
To be considered a close relative, a Manitoba Supporter must be related to the applicant (or the applicant's spouse) in one of the following ways:

sister or brother
niece or nephew (ie. child of your sister or brother)
aunt or uncle (ie. brother or sister of your mother or father)
first cousin (ie. child of your aunt or uncle)
mother or father
grandmother or grandfather

For General Stream :
A distant relative or friend.

Noted. Please change my timeline to family stream.

Thank you

Hi ,

I am new to this forum, i am planning to apply under the MPNP Supporter Program, unfortunately i do not have any prior connections to Manitoba.
So if any one in this forum can help me Support my application , i would be hugely indebted to you .

I am a Software Developer , working in USA and have 10+ years of experience . The GC system in United States is all screwed up and it will take a very long time for my Year to be current ,may be 10-15 years or more.

Hoping for the best

Thanks and Cheers

Dear Seniors,

Is it possible to change my mailing address to my sponsors' address in Canada as it seems quicker that way?

Hi Lovely Singh,

I am having a hard time replying to you in PM so I decided to post my reply instead.

I suppose you applied through mail that is why your AOR took so long to come. Based on my analysis of our time sheet of all applicants, those who applied by mail and then receive their AOR after several months will definitely take a longer processing time. To my understanding, the date you received your AOR is the date when MPNP start processing your application and not the time you submitted in January 2013. This is based on my own analysis only, I might be wrong.

I hope we get our LOA very soon. We need to extend our patience more.

Thank you.

Hi Forever Victory

Thanks for sharing your observations. Hopefully, all the GS applicants will receive the LOAs soon.

Thanks & regards :D

I have applied for MPNP under General Stream through online, back in Ist week of July, 2013 and received a confirmation mail with file number from Manitoba immigration office after two day of application submission date. Also submit the SP2 at the same month (4th week of July).
