I have a friend that got her LOA from manitoba and is filling out a general application form IM00008,
what answer should she provide on question 4 of the form : Immigration Office requested for processing this application?

Hi darksteel!

Just indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

•your friend's country of nationality, or
•the country in which your friend are residing, provided that your friend have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.

Hi darksteel!

Just indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

•your friend's country of nationality, or
•the country in which your friend are residing, provided that your friend have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.

But our confusion is this :
Immigration Office requested for processing this application? my answer to this item when i submitted my application to CIC was "Province of Manitoba", because as far as i know it is the office who requested the application (as per my LOA). correct me if im wrong.

Hi sir, you can try to log in again in Manitoba website just like you did when you submit your application. Hope you still remember your account. Hope that help.

I have alreay log in to my Manitoba account but no acknowledgement was sent if the address was changed. I just want to email them so i could get an assurance that they indeed updated my address.

i've answered it incorrectly.
I've put "Manitoba"..
what could be possibly the effect of this on my application?

Oh I see so whose address you need to change? I believe you can ask your sponsor once he is being interview by the Manitoba personnel cause in my opinion sometimes the interviewer ask the supporter which address they will send the LOA. As far as I'm concern they only acknowledge those additional documents you will send via email. Just my 2 cents.

I know of 2 email address where we can send info updates on our application. They are mpnpapplicationhelp@gov.mb.ca and mpnpsupporter@gov.mb.ca. I will send info to both email address once I change address and that's gonna be soon.

As far as I'm concern they only acknowledge those additional documents you will send via email. Just my 2 cents.

My sponsor moved to a different location so I need to update my mailing address. I will have her inform the interviewer in case she get interviewed.
