hi everyone! I received a note from my sponsor that there is a new guideline for MPNP. if the applicant has satisfied the money needed, there is no need to submit SP2.

i'm not sure if this has been implemented for those who already received the notice for SP2, but most probably apply to the new applicants.

this is great since it will cut the timeline even shorter. =)

God bless us all!

Hi ,

Do they check balance at regular intervals after applying online?? i mean can i withdraw the money from my account ,making balance less than 10000 dollars??
and what kind of proofs do we need to upload (3-6 month bank statement or just a document mentioning current balance)?

Thanks in advance.

initially, you need to submit a bank statement that amounts to 10,000 dollars. however, they will validate it and you need to make it a point to always equivalent to the needed amount. the advise was even to keep it moving or there should be transactions done for the past 6months before they ask you of the updated bank statement.

You have two options:
1) submit the application now and later add the baby to your application when he's born. To do this, you'll send the following when you have the baby:
a) baby's int'l passport(photocopy)
b) photocopy of birth cert,
c) Generic Application form(IMM0008)
d) Additional family information form
e) baby's passport photograph (not sure how many copies for your Visa Office)
d) application fee ($150)

2) wait till you have the baby and add the baby to your application package from scratch.

HI MAYORESS,

THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE IT HELPED ME A LOT. :)

BUT DO I STILL NEED TO PREPARE A NOTIFICATION LETTER TOGETHER WITH THOSE DOCUMENTS OR THERE’S NO NEED FOR A LETTER? I’LL JUST SEND THOSE DOCUMENTS. I DIDN’T APPLY ONLINE, SHOULD I SEND THE DOCUMENTS OF MY BABY TO WHERE I SUBMIT OUR APPLICATION?

ALSO, DO WE STILL NEED TO SUBMIT THE FORM FOR SETTLEMENT PLAN THIS TIME OR WE DON'T NEED TO SUBMIT IT ANYMORE?

THANK AGAIN. ... :)

Hello Friends,

I am from India. One of my friend from winnipeg wanna give me sponsorship for MPNP. As he will complete his one year stay in winnipeg in the month of October, 2013 and he never sponsored any one, so please help me answering my few questions.

1. Can he sponsor me as soon as he completes his one year stay in Manitoba ?

2. As he is supporting me as a Friend do he need to give his employment record and financial history details as well along with his PR Card and Health Card, or only PR Card and Health Card as mentioned on the web ?

3. If bank details are mandatory then what amount should he should have in his bank ?

Someone please answer me.......Thanks in advance.

Hello Malaya.
You don't need to notify them of the pregnancy.
1) Just send the documents as stated in the PNP checklist.
2) Your baby's document should be sent to your visa office.
3) Don't submit any document that is not requested in the checklist.

See the checklist here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf

For the whole application package, check here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prov-apply-application.asp

Keep us posted on this thread as you progress in your application, seniors here will help you. And I wish you safe delivery.

Hi cebugirl,

Just some Point of clarification. If the principal applicant has 2 dependents, is it not that the "Initial bank Statement Balance of the orincipal applicant be CAD 14,000 or are you saying, it can be CAD 10,000 initially, then once they request for an updated bank Statement the funds should be CAD 14,000+++ ?

Thanks in advance!

Namaste Khilav!

FYI:

1. Can he sponsor me as soon as he completes his one year stay in Manitoba ?

--> Definitely. The requirement to become a sponsor is at least 1 yr of being Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident continually residing in Manitoba.

2. As he is supporting me as a Friend do he need to give his employment record and financial history details as well along with his PR Card and Health Card, or only PR Card and Health Card as mentioned on the web ?

--> You nailed it! Yes are correct! The Minimum required DOX are: CR or PR Card or Canadian PP + M. HC -- for General Stream. But it wont hurt if he will include some other documents like those you mentioned above. Otherwise, if needed to, they will request you or your friend to provide additional DOX other than their Minimum requirement.

3. If bank details are mandatory then what amount should he should have in his bank ?

--> I havent had such info, requiring the Sponsor or supporter to provide such, however, as I have mentioned it can boost your application if he willingly do it..

Good luck!

First of all Thank you very much.

As I discussed with my friend in winnipeg........He says he has to obtain a tax certificate from his employer, which he will receive in the month of November, 2013...........Then he says that as he is studying and doing job equally and his monthly income is low ( he is residing with his parents )......so he is also confused to attach documents like employment record and tax certificates.

Are these documents mandatory and does his low income can become an obstacle ? If being an applicant my account is properly funded, further do I need his income to be sufficient ? Are there any measures of sponsor's income published some where ?

If any ones's sponsor is a friend please guide me.

This question is for all.

did anybody got an inquiry regarding their work experience , or education during the time the applicant was waiting for his LOA.
i mean during the time, his application was with winnipeg office.

Hi Khilav,

All I can say is the Basic Minimum requirement would do. Adding more documents sometimes draw more questions than answers. So to be safe, if I am the Sponsor, Id rather comply the Basic documentation required from me.

Him being your Sponsor, demonstrates that you have a Connection in Manitoba. Your Settlement funds will on the otherhand demonstrate that you can settle in Manitoba without accessing Support from Govt funds.

Please be reminded that in the SP2, item no. 6. Declaration and Authorization, section D. It states that: "I am satisfied that the applicant has the ability to meet the own Basic Needs, etc... "

Good luck!
