i am still waiting for Sponsor interview / LOA. Applied in Jan under GS Online. Other online applicants received their LOA but i haven't received anything.

Regarding Sponsors...

Our Sponsor will be my wife's aunt.

I am the principal applicant coz i have a longer work experience than her.

Do we Need to ask my wife's uncle to Sponsor our application as well or one sponsor is enough?

How much Money do our Sponsor/s Need to have in their bank account in order to Sponsor us?

Whenever an applicant has a Sponsor/s, how much Money does the applicant Need to have in his bank account? I assume that would be less than the required CAD 10,000 for the principal + CAD 2,000 per accompanying dependent?

Mine is under general stream. i applied online on 14th april under the new rules scheme which were levied in april. they branded it as a faster application scheme.. but alas. nothing till now. no interview of sponsor or anything. any guess on how much time does it take t get the LOA in general stream.. i know its rhetorical but a approximate guess will calm my nerves..

Most sources( including within this thread) has a indicative timeline of 3-6months for Family Stream and 4-8 months for General Stream. The timelines tabulated by our Forum mates also gives a similar average.
However as you may have read, each case is individually assessed and timelines differ to various criteria set by the MPNP in ensuring the applicant is able to settle smoothly and contribute to the province.
With the recent PAFSO strike, timelines have altered quite significantly. Nevertheless, keep praying and try to distract your attention to the waiting times ( easier said than done).
But I was told that the Federal Application wait is even longer, so brace yourself and stay positive.

So with or without Sponsor the required Money in the account is Minimum CAD 10,000 for the principal applicant?

Where is the effect of having Sponsor/s then? Please enlighten me...

1 sponsor is enough for General Stream or Family Stream. You are not qualified under that stream if you will not have any sponsor.

Applicant Interview : 3 Sep 2013

I am currently working on the CIC application and target to have it mailed by mid Oct 2013.

Yes I was interviewed earlier because my sponsor was not reachable.

hi Guys

my mpnp supporter has known me for 1 month only (although we have common roots back in our home country in terms of similar province, same religious community etc), will that me an impediment if we apply for the MPNP ?

the MPNP supporter has been living in winnipeg for the last 10 years and is very well qualified and working for a leading telecom company in a senior job.
