Hi Naturals!

I created my online account long time ago and I cant remember if I choose the Family or General Stream.

1. Since you mentioned that you applied for General Stream, can u pls tell me how will I know which stream I applied? Or is this something that I will be asked during the interview?

2. "Request for additional documents (IELTS, recent bank statement)- 31st July", does this mean that when you submitted your application, your IELTS + recent bank statement were not included or available that time? Pls explain, coz I am under the impression that i cant submit my online application if I dont have these two important documents.

3. When they requested for the additional documents, were you given a deadline?

Hi Znaifier,

If your sponsor is a family member then u have applied under family stream and if a friend then you applied for general stream.

On your second question, I submitted my bank statement without IELTS with my application. However during my interview I was asked to submit an updated bank statement and IELTS. Also I was given a deadline to submit the documents.

Praise God!!! I just received my LOA yesterday in the afternoon! yay! God is sooooo good! The letter was dated August 27, 2013 and I received it yesterday Sept 23, Monday at 2 in the afternoon!

Next step is to apply for permanent resident visa; this next step is still a big ? for me. Anyone can provide or share to me your experiences in this visa processing to be submitted to CIC? It's indicated in the letter that I should complete my visa application by Feb 27, 2014.

Btw, they provided me a link to their website for the forms and the necessary info in doing this next step. Sure, I will check on the link they gave. But I would love to know your experiences in applying for visa i.e. fees? documents? what to do and what not to do? Thanks in advance for all your help.

I am sorry to msg you all like this suddenly and popping a question asking for favour for people who dont even know me.
But I am helpless me and family want to live our Canada Dream and that me and my wife want a brighter future for our daughter
My problem that I qualifies in every way but have no sponsor in Manitoba and all other ways are closed.
I would be very greatfull if any one could do us a favour and fulfill our dream. If you could I would request someone to sponsor us and help us reach Canada. I know I am asking a lot from a person who I dont even know but we have no other way. I hope you understand our problem and give us a way out.

Well, I know that its a case to case basis thing but at least you just confirmed that it is possible. Coz for some it has to be complete before submitting the application.

I am from India. One of my friend from winnipeg wanna give me sponsorship for MPNP. As he will complete his one year stay in winnipeg in the month of October, 2013 and he never sponsored any one, so please help me answering my few questions.

1. Can he sponsor me as soon as he completes his one year stay in Manitoba ?

2. As he is supporting me as a Friend do he need to give his employment record and financial history details as well along with his PR Card and Health Card, or only PR Card and Health Card as mentioned on the web ?

3. If bank details are mandatory then what amount should he should have in his bank ?

Having said that, I think it will be wise for you to submit your application with IELTS just to avoid any unnecessary delays. Besides I learnt it now has to be completed before submitting the application. As such, I will advice you take the Test if you have not already done so.
