Could someone please shed some light if the online applications are open. If i have a friend who lives in Manitoba would i still be able to qualify? I am currently in the US on work permit.

I know these are very basic questions but any help would really be appreciated.

online application is open yes, if you have a friend who can sponsor you from within Manitoba, yes you qualify. you friend must be residing in Manitoba for at least 1 year on PR to help you in any way

Hi guys,

Just want to Ask something that really bothers me.

I just submitted my online application. Im done with the requirements and everything.

Here's my time lime

April21 filed and received the confirmation receiving my application.
April 22 got my file number and my sponsor sent mpnp part 2.

Question: When i was reading my confirmation letter it tells that my settlement plan is under mpnp for skilled worker but am applying for family stream. I dont remember anything that i chose skilled worker. Will this affect my application or is it normal?

An opinion or idea will really help. TIA.

Hi,

No need to worry, everyone applied in MPNP online is a skilled worker. Difference is the first question is if you are a skilled worker with "close" relative.
If you answer no in this question then another question will be asked if you are a skilled worker with "distant relative or a friend".

Since you are under family stream, you had answered the first question with yes. Thus showing skilled worker under family stream.

Sponsor send SP2 on April 23rd. I did not receive any confirmation yet

my sponsor also submitted SP2 and supportng documents to show our relationship but we did not received any confirmation from the MPNP. I emailed MPNP they said that we will have to wait the response of MPNP until documntswill be uploaded on my file. Thank You!

can anybody tell me about the current processing time of mpnp under employer direct stream

I applied on 19 feb 2013 and got file number the next day ........till now waiting for the phone call from them ?


please i am very scared as lot of people are refused by them for nomination
