Hi tweety
I am applying for mpnp next week. My brother is also pla.ning to start his student visa application at the end of june. If he will get student visa for toronto, will this effect my my application?

@ tweety05..... Spousal visa though it will take years to process?? whats that meaning..???
Actually I checked in CIC website the processing time for a spousal visa and it's 10 mos in India from Apr 2012 to March 2013 applications. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp#asia. When you include her in your application to MPNP or your PR application, you can bring her along with you once you get the PR visa but like what I said it maybe or will be complicated because of her relatives in Vancouver and her previous application in Canada.

que :how much time it takes if i sponsar my spouse in manitoba??
10 mos but may vary, check the link I gave you above from time to time.

que :m in general category so it ll takes 6 to 9 months ryt for nomination approval n aftr for PR processing it ll takes 13 months ?? m confused??
(MPNP GS) 6-9 mos + (CIC PR application) 13 mos in India = 19-22 mos processing. But still it may vary.
* sorry my fault but the 4-5 mos of PR visa processing is for the Philippines though it's 11 mos in the website but they are doing it fast now.

sorry i think m making confuse u also but i m soo confused in dis processing time....please tell me both processings timings are diff like its general stream 6 to 9 months + PR time 13 months = 19 to 22 months ??
OR
general stream-6 to 9 months + PR time-4 to 5 months =13 or 14 months ??
The processing time I gave you for MPNP are based from the timelines of last year's GS applications.
The processing time I gave you for PR application is based from the official website of CIC.
Remember, these are only guide.

hope m not disturbing u.....
That's okay, no problem at all.
thanx

I believe not because they will see that you applied first before him. I also think that it will only have an effect if you have relatives having a permanent resident status in other province of Canada.

These are only my views, let's wait for other member's response to your post.

Link to MPNP Application 2013 Tracking Sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsRLPEaX_tE_dHl6ZzNtWHRJOTZlVDY1dk1LY3JyRmc#gid=0

Place the link in your signature space to access easily. Go to PROFILE then on the left side click FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION and paste the link above in the SIGNATURE space.

I asked 2 members from your group to maintain the tracking sheet right after I made it.

Hi!

I would like to make a suggestion about the spreadsheet for Batch 2013. I think it is much easier to monitor if the order is based on application date.

Thanks

Hello to Everyone,

I am one of the pre 2008 FSW applicants affected by backlog, and my application fee will be refunded. I applied in 2005 and waited almost 8 long years just to find out that my application will be deleted. I wasted my youth, overseas job opportunities which I turned down while waiting plus investment opportunities.
I'm sorry for what happened. It must be really hard you and for all the applicants.

Now I am considering application under the general stream of MPNP. My problem is, I do not have friends or relatives in Manitoba, although I have relatives in Vancouver. I have requested my relatives in Vancouver to help me find a supporter who will be willing to endorse me to the MPNP. My question is, what are my success rate if my supporter do not know me. Of course I plan to call my soon to be supporter as soon as I have one in order to share my settlement plan. Can anyone share some information about this kind of set up. Thank you. Any helpful information will be highly appreciated.
There is no assurance for everything. So, better try to apply. Start talking to your sponsor now to build a true relationship as friends. Having a stronger ties in other province can solely be a ground for refusal but like what I've told you there's no harm in trying. As long as you are really willing to stay in Manitoba and will not use the program just to get into Canada then there's nothing to worry about.

Thank you tweety for your advise. I appreciate it very much. God Bless.

thanx for ur reply Tweety. we dont have any permanent resident relative in Canada.

Thank you tweety for the helpful information. I have one more question, kindly provide me with information. May I ask, how many friend /s will be needed when I apply in the MPNP General Stream category. Hope to get an answer. Based on what I read in the MPNP site, it did not mention how many, so I suppose one friend as my spporter will do. Your reply will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

@ tweety05
Hi! Do you happen to know is there any deadline to apply to CIC after getting nomination? If yes, then how many days/months are given to apply.
TIA

Application for permanent residence should reach CIC within 6 months from LOA issue date.

You have just to reflect the minimum required fund (CAD 10000) in your account by depositing the lacking amount. You don't need to wait 6 months to submit the bank statement. As long as the required amount is shown in your account, It's OK. However, you still have to ask your bank for a 6-month account history and submit the same to MPNP.
