Hi All,

I'm new to this forum, having joined today.

My wife applied to MPNP on April 30, 2013 and we got an email with the file# 2 days after. I have a serious concern however: as our family income is comprised of 90% my annual income, the 6-month statement of account submitted with the online application is mine. My sponsor, a close friend who lives in Winnipeg, reasoned that submitting my statement of account with my wife being the principal applicant should not be a problem at all. From the experience of everyone in this forum, should I have a valid reason to be worried? I wouldn't want our application to be rejected based on technicality.

We also have a joint savings account where our family savings go into but a 6-month statement of this account will not reveal much financial activities/transactions at all.

Cheers

You should not be worried at all! In my case, I am the principal applicant and my spouse who's a plain housewife has more than twice the amount shown in her bank account statements than mine. It's no problem, all assets are conjugal anyway. BTW, I have already received LOA from MPNP and CIC application is currently in progress.

@ad123164 Many thanks for the clarification!

Hey guys,

Can someone help me? I cannot access the www.immigratemanitoba.com. Always getting the "gateway timeout" in my screen. I tried different gadgets such as laptops, cellphone and workstation in my office still i get same results.

Thanks

Hi All/ @ad123164

I need one more clarification: the MPNP instruction on evidence of supporting funds states one should have minimum of CAD $10,000 for the principal applicant including CAD $2,000 for each additional family member. We are a family of 4 members which implies we should have CAD $16,000. The balance in our statement of account submitted was CAD $10,000 but the cashflow through the account over the 6-month period for which the bank certificate was obtained showed evidence of CAD $90,000 for inflows and CAD $80,00 for outflows. We indicated, through a separate letter, that our family income is collectively slightly above CAD $80,000 and that we should not have issues making up and saving much more than CAD $16,000. Our sponsor stated that the balance in our bank account should not be a source of worry based on the cashflow in our account as well as our annual income as stated in our COE. Should we still be worried about this? ???

Many thanks for your usual response.

I hope that MPNP will take into consideration your letter of explanation. But based on what I know and what I've read in various posts in this forum, MPNP puts more weight whether the account balance is sufficient as per their requirement. It really doesn't matter much if the bulk of the amount is deposited a day before the issuance of the statement.

However, I feel that you will receive a positive response from MPNP for being truthful. Since it will take 3 to 4 (5?) months before you and your sponsor will be interviewed, try your best to come up with the required amount in that period before MPNP asks for an updated bank statement.

Good Day,

I still cannot access the website www.immigratemanitoba.com. I sitll encountering the error message prompte " Gateway Timeout". Although I have created an account by accessing this site https://web6.gov.mb.ca/sso/Account/LogOn but when i click on pnp online. I get the same result "Gateway timeout".

Seniors. I really hope you could help me on this. Please

Thanks

Hi!

I would like to make a suggestion about the spreadsheet for Batch 2013. I think it is much easier to monitor if the order is based on application date.

Thanks

Yes, I agree with you, that's how it should be. I made the spreadsheet and asked 2 members of this group to maintain it.

ATTENTION: Whoever is willing and able to maintain your group's tracking sheet, please PM me your gmail addresses.

Thanks :)

Hi! Just want to share my timeline i submitted my mpnp application online last dec 15,2012. Recieved my file number the next day. Jan 16 my sponsor was ask to submit sp2 and got a call from mpnp last April16. Question, how long will it take for me to recieve LOA?

Next question my son just got married and is about to submit his application but this coming july the wife will give birth. Is it ok ti submit his application now and newborn to follow.

Hello :)

You may want your timeline to be added in MPNP Application Batch 2012. Here's the link: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/mpnp-application-2012-t104640.5430.html. Emperor is the one maintaining the spreadsheet.

It will be faster to receive the LOA if your mailing address is in Manitoba. If it is your address then consider the transit time of the mail from Canada to your location. Bear in mind as well that it also depends on when your decision letter was released and mailed by the program officer.

There's no problem with having a new depedant while the application is on process. You just need to update MPNP and he maybe required to provide an updated bank cert or bank statement to prove that the settlement fund is enough for all the family members including the new dependant/newborn.

guyz couple of more queries -

- On my bank account, address is different as compared to my permanent address on passport, because my bank account was opened by my company and it has address of company on it, Should I alter the address on Account & make it similar to passport????

- My tentative month of application will be in July 2013, Is there any chance of closing MPNP in July, or will continue??

You're welcome :) Good luck on your application.

If it is the account to receive your salary, I guess you better open a new personal account to match the address reflected in your bank book/passbook to your passport address. Attach the bank statement for the last 6 mos in your old bank account then provide them as well bank statement of your new account when you transfer the money to it. Letter of explanation will be of great help for the program officer of MPNP to understand why you have given them 2 bank statements. I may have different view from ad123164, 50-50 answers you got from us. So, the next thing you'll do is to confirm it directly to MPNP by sending them an email, mpnpsupporter@gov.mb.ca.

Hi all!

any news regarding MPNP? will it continue accepting applicants the whole year? im worried as i will be applying on oct2013. TIA! :)

Hello :)

There is no news that it will close this year and if it will happen, I'm sure it will not be abrupt.

Good luck on your application this October.
