Hi Friends,

Do the authorities interview the MPNP candidates before their Medical Request?

I recently read a post where an applicant mentioned that "He & his boss were interviewed over telephone for about 15 minutes each". This happened just before he received a Medical request.

Is this a standard process i.e. is every applicant interviewed before medical?

I understand that the sponsors are interviewed in initial stage of the visa process (as my sponsor was interviewed) !!

But is there a second interview just before medical in which the MPNP applicant & his employer are interviewed ?

Please clarify with firm information.
Replies will be highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
SIDHU

It depends on the visa officer.

If they wants to confirm any information, they can do telephonic as well as In person interview at any stage.even after the medical instruction are issued.

but its not generally done as being not feasible becoz of no of application I guess.

It could be a random thing (they have mentioned that they take some cases out for quality/process assurance/checking
and these cases are then subjected to more rigorous checks, but they do inform the applicant , if they have done that).

Or could be to clear some doubts about the authenticity of the claims made in documents .

some countries have also hired indian agencies to get the information verified, ( I know about an Indian neighbor's spousal visa, people came to our house asking about them)

so if you are doing what you have mentioned, you should be afraid and do update your boss/supervisor that he can expect a call from Canadian immigration.

take a chill pill again ;)
