hello guys!

I submitted our citizenship application last July 3rd.

On Sept. 1st we’re moving to a new apartment.

How would I change our address with cic? I have not received AOR yet.

Please help!

Thank you!

I'd advise to call and change it. If your application is going to be returned due to incompleteness, you'll never get AOR and your application could end up at your old address. I'd wait a few weeks, though.

Well if application is not in system as it is deemed incomplete then how do you expect call center agent to update address ??

As suggested by other memebers you can update it by either calling them or usinf webform. Calling them is easier and quicker. Sometimes its hard to connect to an agent but call them early morning and you should be fine.

I wondered the same, but perhaps something is noted under the UCI? Webform definitely won't work if no AOR, so calling is the only option until that point.

Nothing is noted under UCI. Many people tried before. No success.

Thank you very much for the replies. I will call IRCC middle of August.

Wait until you receive AOR, because until then your application does not exist, it's a piece of paper in sydney, once you get AOR change it online

order Canada post Mail Forwarding service and then update address online when you get AOR

Perfect! I'll do this too. Thank you!

Be advised that some correspondence does not get forwarded- for instance, permanent resident cards. I renewed mine and moved last year, thought mail forwarding would be ok, but they did not forward (envelope says DO NOT FORWARD), it went to my old address and got misplaced (I tried contacting the new tenants but they ignored me). I had to update the address with IRCC, then ask for a new one to be delivered.
Mail forwarding is great, but definitely update IRCC as soon as you move.

Cheers,
