Hello, i would like some information...i am a canadian citizen who is presently living in Portugal with my family, my husband, who is portuguese but lived in canada since he was 8 as a permenent resident and my three children (two born in canada and one in Portugal). We left canada in 2003 (before the pr cards were required) to take care of my parents in Portugal...we were married in canada and lived together for 9 years before we decided to move tó Portugal (my husbands' mother and siblings are citizens and living in canada and my husband worked 16 years in canada) here is my question...can we move back into canada? If Yes, what do i need for my husband tó go back? If no, what other solutions can you advise me? I appreciate your help and looking forward to your response.

1. As you are a Canadian citizen, your husband's PR was preserved as he was living with a Canadian citizen abroad.
2. So he doesn't have any problems, he may wish to apply for a Travel Document from the Paris office.
3. I assume you have proof of citizenship for child born in Portugal? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/proof.asp

Thank you for your response, feeling alot better now that that was clarified...Gonna take care of my youngests' citizenship :)
